Today

Today we were supposed to get up at the butt crack of dawn and drive to Colorado for the annual Quilt Affair at The Ranch outside of Loveland.
We've gone for several years and enjoyed it each time.
Afterwards, we were going to get together with the Simpleton clan.
I was looking forward to that as much as the quilt show.
So much for that idea.
Wyoming got hit hard with snow.
Library Sherrie, rest assured that we will enjoy the kraut burgers.

So instead, I worked on my next medieval banner.

As you can see, I still have one section to go on the knight.
This is about six hours worth of cutting and piecing.

I also did mundane stuff like laundry.
I have to go to Denver tomorrow for a training for school.
I thought it might be nice to have clean clothes.
And yes, I went and bought new socks and underwear.
Just like always.

About mid-morning when I was grumping around because
we couldn't go to Colorado, I get a picture-text from dear Sister Two.
It read, "What are you doing?"

I have to admit I was a bit jealous even though I'm not a football fan.
I can't believe I just typed that out loud .... not liking football is
almost sacreligious here in Nebraska.

Is it evil to hope they got rained on?
