My husband thinks I'm crazy.
So does daughter # 1.
I want to add some
Guinea fowl to our homestead.
These birds are supposed to be good for unwanted insects in your yard and garden.
Plus they are supposed to alert you when unwanted company (rattle snakes) are about.
I also would love to have walking about our farm
Peacocks!
My husband and daughter #1 both think they would be too noisy.
I think they would be great.
Anyone out there have any real life stories involving either bird.

Gee, they couldn't say anything if you got them for Mother's Day, could they?
I grew up on a ranch and we had both guineas and peacocks and the peacocks drove our horses nuts by yelling "help" at them all the time, but there are still peacocks at the ranch and there have been for over 45 years. I think the guineas have been taken over by the geese.
